If your professional expertise and/or personal experience intersect with the issues and themes explored in an EthnoGraphic Media film, you might consider participating in post-screening discussions. Specifically:
Little Town of Bethlehem. This award-winning documentary tells the story of three men—an Israeli Jew, a Palestinian Christian, and a Palestinian Muslim—involved in the growing nonviolence movement in the Holy Land to end the cycle of violence.
Miss HIV. This award-winning documentary shines a light on the competing education and prevention ideologies, explores the rhetoric and outcomes of each ideology, and showcases an innovative approach used to counteract one of the greatest obstacles in the battle against HIV/AIDS—stigma.
The Walk His Trail Trilogy. Three award-winning films—Beyond the Gates of Splendor, End of the Spear, and The Grandfathers—come together to tell the amazing story of the savage killing of five missionaries at the hands of the world’s most violent tribe. It was an event that captured the world’s attention. This trilogy of two documentaries and a feature film explores issues of commitment and sacrifice as well as forgiveness and reconciliation. Together they present a legacy of faith, hope and love.
